Minitrekking on the Glacier Perito Moreno

Departure from the Hotel at 8:00 by bus. The excursion begins in the port approximately 6 km from the glacier mirador. The ship will sail across Lago Rico arriving at the south. After disembarkation at the refuge, guides will organize the party in-groups. We will begin the 20 minutes walk along the lakeshore until we reach the glacier. At this point the guides will assist participants to put on their crampons and give instruction of how to walk on the ice.

We will then spend approximately 3 hours on the glacier during which you will have chance to appreciate the variety of the ice formations.

All of these services are available every day and our mountain guides are bilingual.

Recommendations:

A - Footwear: any type of trainers sperts shoes or hiking boots. Wear thick socks, preferably wool or cotton. Rubber boots slippers or high heels are not allowed.

B - Clothing: sports / casual. Long trousers for both sexes it is confortable to wear sweater, t-shirt, and weatherproof jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen and gloves.

Also a sun caps or warms hat if it is cold.

C - Lunch: bring your own.

D - Age: the excursion is suitable for everyone betweeen 10 and 60 years old. Other age groups should consult our office.
